On Sept. 10 and 11, the Denver community came together for CycleNation to help save lives from stroke and heart disease. Over 600 participants and 30 companies came together to raise over $550,000 that will go towards making a big impact on the heart health of Colorado.
During the event, we announced the winner of the highly coveted Professional Services Industry Challenge award. Congratulations to the team at Grant Thornton who have been awarded the 202 Professional Services Industry Challenge winner! Over 50 people from Grant Thornton came together to spin with purpose and raised over $21,000 in support of the mission of the American Heart Association.
If you’re not familiar with CycleNation, the event is a high-energy, relay-style party on stationary bikes. During the event teams of up to eight individuals work together to keep their team’s bike spinning for two hours while listening to music, working out with energetic instructors, and hearing inspiring stories from heart disease and stroke survivors. Denver hosts one of the largest CycleNation events in the country. Together, we can stop the cycle of heart disease and stroke and be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives.
