The casting call for the 2023 class of Go Red for Women® Real Women is open July 11-July 31, 2022!
Each year, the American Heart Association selects Real Women spokespersons for the Go Red for Women® movement. The Real Women share their personal experiences with heart disease and stroke to raise awareness that cardiovascular diseases are women’s greatest health threat. All year long, our Real Women are featured in various awareness and education efforts, national and local media spots, and at AHA events. The Real Women are an integral part of helping Go Red for Women spread heart-health information in relatable ways to women across the U.S.
If you (or someone you know) are a woman at least 18 years old and living with cardiovascular disease, you can apply to be a 2023 Real Woman. Tell us why you would make a good Real Woman in a 60-second video posted to #GoRedGetFit and then complete the online application (see application for official terms and conditions).
